Eco-baskets Project

These eco-baskets is one of e-homemakers program to help empower less-fortunate women by training them to weave and sell baskets out of old magazines.
These women who happen to be homemakers, single mothers, disabled, unemployed, under-educated. Each of them has their own tale to tell. There is AgilaUma, Norzihan and Foong Yee, to name a few. Having a life strictly confined to their home made it impossible for these women to make ends meet. This program however, not only helps them to be financially independent, but also helps them develop their potential and confidence.
Another advantage of this program is its significant contribution to promoting a healthier and greener environment by using old magazines.
